The shared vocabulary for understanding Aboard Workbench.
- Workspace: the boundary for context, capabilities, permissions, and work history.
- Agent: a participant that understands intent, uses context, plans, acts through authority, and reports results.
- Plugin: an installable capability provider that is activated into a Workspace.
- Connector: an external connection role, including MCP connections.
- Provider: an implementation selected for a versioned capability contract.
- Knowledge Base: governed information context available to authorized Agents and workflows.
- Workflow: a repeatable product process composed of steps, inputs, triggers, and results.
- Run: one execution instance of an Agent or Workflow.
- Draft: a typed proposed change that still needs review and authority validation.
- Preview: a non-mutating calculation of the likely result and requirements.
- Grant: explicit permission for a capability or effect.
